Hi, I’m Katrin.
In 2016, I solo-traveled to Mexico for two months. That trip changed my life forever. A year later, I left my old life in Germany behind and moved permanently to Mexico.
As a German, I grew up in strict systems that taught me to function, not to feel alive. Mexico healed that.
In Oaxaca, I studied the Tonalpohualli with one of its few maestras, Venus del Angel Rodríguez Coronado. Her teachings made me realize why so many Westerners feel drawn to Mexico – and how this land reflects back what our soul is ready to remember.
Today, I combine this wisdom with my travel agency, Lakaan Travel, to create journeys that awaken your soul and guide you back home to yourself.

Yes. We can build your travel experience around what you’ve already planned. Whether it’s a hotel, retreat, or flight, we’ll make the rest of your journey flow around it.
Do I need to know my Aztec sign?
No. I’ll calculate your sign for you — all I need is your birth date. You don’t need any prior knowledge of the Aztec calendar.
What’s special about planning a trip with the Aztec calendar?

Is the Planning Call enough if I want to organize everything myself?

I don’t speak Spanish — will I be okay?
If you book the Travel With Me option, I’ll translate and facilitate everything on-site. For other options, I’ll recommend trusted bilingual guides and create a contact sheet to help you navigate smoothly.
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks before your trip, especially if you choose Full Planning or Travel With Me. Last-minute requests can sometimes be accommodated but aren’t guaranteed.
Is this only for solo travelers?
No. All offers can be adapted for couples, friends, or small groups. Just let me know how many people are coming and we’ll plan accordingly.
